Kanpas Alpinis MA-45FS Stable half-thumb compass with pressure-compensating capsule for high-altitude use

Item No.:Alpinis MA-45FS stable

The Alpinis is designed for reliable navigation in high-altitude and low-pressure environments. Its specially designed capsule helps prevent large air bubbles from forming as pressure changes or temperature reduction, keeping the needle moving smoothly and providing stable direction readings at different elevations.

The classic half-thumb baseplate gives orienteers a familiar and comfortable way to hold the compass, while the transparent capsule keeps the map easy to see. A protective rubber ring helps protect the compass during use, and the durable baseplate is built to handle demanding mountain conditions.

With its fast and stable Stable++ needle, the Alpinis is a dependable choice for high-altitude or cold mountain region orienteering race.

Features:

1. High-Altitude Performance: The specially designed capsule helps the compass perform reliably in low-pressure, cold high-altitude environments.

2. Stable++ Needle: The Stable++ needle settles quickly and provides steady direction readings, even during fast movement.

3. Half-Thumb Ergonomics: The compact half-thumb baseplate provides a natural grip and allows direct contact with the map for better control.

4. Protective Rubber Ring: A durable rubber ring helps protect the compass capsule from knocks and impacts on rocky and demanding terrain.

5. Luminous Markings: Luminous markings make the dial easier to read in low-light and nighttime conditions.

6. Multiple bezel Options: Available with Degree, Rainbow, or Clear dial designs.

7. Northern and Southern Hemispheres available.
